Stephen Gill

Stephen Gill leads the Global Cash & Liquidity business at BNY Investments, setting strategic direction across all currencies, regions and client segments. He oversees a global commercial team spanning North America, EMEA and APAC, partnering across markets to deliver coordinated client engagement, share expertise and bring the full breadth of BNY Investments' capabilities to clients worldwide. By drawing together the strengths of BNY Investments Dreyfus and Insight, Steve is responsible for driving a unified global approach to cash and liquidity solutions.

A BNY veteran since 2007, Steve has held a series of senior leadership roles across the firm. Most recently, he served as Head of Distribution for BNY Investments Dreyfus, where he led the go-to-market strategy across domestic and offshore money market funds, an ultra-short exchange-traded fund (ETF), short and ultra-short separately managed accounts (SMAs), sub-advisory services and digitally enabled cash solutions. Prior to that, he served as Global Head of Relationship Management for Liquidity and Margin Services, leading client engagement and strategy across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, and as U.S. Head of Relationship Management for Liquidity and Margin Services. Before joining BNY, Steve began his career in operational risk at Wellington Management in 2005.

Steve holds an MBA in Finance and Management from the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business and a BA in Economics and Italian Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
