Head of Distribution, BNY Investments Dreyfus

Steve is head of distribution at Dreyfus from New York City, overseeing the firm’s go-to-market strategy across domestic and offshore money market funds, an ultra‑short exchange-traded fund (ETF), short and ultra‑short separately managed accounts (SMAs), sub‑advisory services, and digitally enabled cash and liquidity solutions. A champion of several 1BNY initiatives, including charitable plan share class launches and Dreyfus’ digital liquidity innovations, he drives cross‑enterprise connectivity and collaboration.

Steve is a BNY veteran and has been with the firm since 2007. Prior to his current role, he was global head of relationship management for Liquidity and Margin Services and led a relationship management team responsible for client engagement and strategy for the firm’s cash and margin platform across the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions. Before, he was US head of relationship management for Liquidity and Margin Services, where he led a relationship management team for the Americas. He began his career in operational risk at Wellington Management in 2005.

Steve earned an MBA in finance and management from the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business and a BA in economics and Italian studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
